Account Manager – Enterprise Server and Storage Sales

Job Description:

We are currently looking for a sales professional with proven results, a team player with a competitive spirit, and strong business acumen to join our sales team. This is an exciting opportunity where you will be laser-focused on developing Enterprise Server and Storage revenue opportunities in a growing market.  We are seeking a Solution Sales Specialist based in the DFW area.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver consistent sales results via strategically aligned business engagements
  • Outside sales and business development responsibility for Enterprise Storage solutions
  • Ability to articulate the business value and benefits of solutions with accounts
  • Expert ability to articulate product, solutions, and industry knowledge at customer meetings
  • Develop and execute target business plans and exceed quota expectations
  • Provide weekly updates on sales forecasts and pipeline
  • Lead the sales cycle from opportunity identification through contract signature
  • Generate new sales engagements with accounts driving towards sustainable run rate business

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Successful track record of selling into medium to large business accounts in a fast-paced technology environment
  • Ability to create and execute pipeline growth from qualified leads to revenue
  • Minimum 3 years of experience selling Enterprise Server and/or Storage solutions ie HPE, Dell, Lenovo, EMC
  • Minimum 5 years of quota carrying hardware technology sales and account management
  • Work collaboratively with pre-sales to engage in prospect opportunities
  • Direct sales experience is a must and collaboration with partner network
  • Experience managing and closing complex solution sales
  • Strong technical, financial, and business acumen
  • Commitment to long-term customer success
  • Strong operational rigor and time management skills
  • Professional network within territory
